2005 Selene Merlot

A blend of 83% Merlot and 17% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 15 months in French oak, 70% new. Aromas of black cherry, boysenberry, blueberry, and blackcurrant fruits, leading to earthy dark chocolate, rose petal floral, exotic sweet spice.  The fruit comes through with immediate impact and intensity in the mouth; the texture is fine and chewy with soft tannins; the ultra-long finish invites another sip.  290 cases made.
