2013 Northern Gale Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep aromas of cassis, blackberry, black cherry, tobacco leaf, raspberry jam and thyme. A luxuriously textured palate of boysenberry, blueberries, mocha, vanilla bean and black tea is supported by firm yet ripe tannins that continue to evolve in the glass. Give it some time in the glass to fully show its character and complexity. Best now through 2030. Northern Gale is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from Calistoga fruit.  Fermentation was done partially in stainless steel and partially in French oak puncheons. Aged 30 months in 100%  French oak with 25% new barrels. Bottle aged 1+ years. A small production of 298 cases made.
