2014 Gaja Dagromis Barolo

Intense red in color, this wine offers rich aromas of berries and flowers combined with notes of licorice, dried herbs and spices. On the palate, it has a solid structure and a rich softness, as well as a lingering finish.

From two single vineyards, Gaja’s DaGromis Barolo has rich aromas of wild berries and floral notes are layered with dried herbs and spices. With classic DaGromis texture, there is an elegance and approachability about it that can only be described as Gaja-like. Intoxicating bergamot and tangerine develop into floral and balsamic notes, with hints of linden and verbena flowers, rose and white pepper. The palate is fresh and juicy, with precise notes of dark red berry fruit, pomegranate and wild strawberries.
