Named ‘Best in Class’ by S.fF. Chronicle. The 2014 Chardonnay Chenoweth Vineyard leaps from the glass with pronounced pineapple, guava and honeyed peach notes plus hints of brioche, ginger and orange blossoms. Medium to full-bodied, it packs in the tropical and savory favors with a lovely creaminess to the texture and a long, harmonious finish.
A light green-tinged yellow color introduces yeasty, creamy aromas that mingle with orange blossom, nectarines and apricots. Flavors of dried apricot, baked pear, and Meyer lemon curd mingle with roasted nuts and coalesce with a persistent, mineral streaked finish. So fun to drink now, but expect this wine to drastically improve with another 6 to 12 months of cellaring. Designed to age this wine should provide 5-8 years of extraordinary drinking experiences.
