The second vintage for us from the English Hill vineyard and it is becoming a winery favorite. The vineyard exudes a true expression of Sonoma Coast Pinot with aromas of bright and lively red fruits highlighted by a smoked citrus component that mingle with juniper, sumac, tobacco and cedar. Slightly more stout in structure than its Russian River Valley brother; its cools site origins are apparent with the cranberry and pomegranate flavors wrapped up in lingering finish of citrus pith. Drink now or over the next 10 years. This wine will reward those with some patience. 100% French Oak, 25% new, 25% once used, 50% 4 years or older. 98 cases
