Barrel-fermented and aged in French oak for 11 months, the 2014 Chardonnay Durell Vineyard is intensely scented of ripe apricots, pineapple and mango with hints of buttered toast, beeswax and orange peel. Full-bodied, rich and opulent in the mouth, it offers a wonderfully satiny texture and superb concentration finishing with persistent tropical fruit and honey-nut layers. Only 234 cases were made.
