2015 Chappellet Cabernet Sauvignon

Bright red cherry, plum, rose petal and mint notes give the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature a very distinctive and, frankly surprising, amount of freshness. Vibrant, perfumed and nuanced, the Signature is flat-out delicious. The purity of the fruit here is striking, especially at this level. This mid-weight, gracious Cabernet remains one of the very best values in Napa Valley. The Signature saw 60% new oak, about half of it American, and the rest Hungarian and American. Drink window 2020-2035.

WA93: The deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature delivers mocha, cassis and black soil notes with touches of black cherries, charcoal and fried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with black berry and earthy flavors, textured by chewy tannins and finishing earthy/savory. Drink Date: 2017-2030.
