Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon gives up notes of cassis, baked blackberries and preserved plums with hints of fallen leaves, Indian spices and cigar box. Full-bodied and packed with spicy black fruit flavors, it has a firm backbone and just enough freshness to lift the long finish.
Rich dark purple color. The nose is pure joy, black fruits, espresso, graphite, and cedar. Mouthfeel is concentrated and unctuous, rich and expressive, with smooth tannins leading to swirling flavors of dark berries, plum, chocolate and sweet spice.
Purlieu and Le Pich are the culmination of several seasoned and determined wine professionals efforts to produce the finest Cabernet Sauvignon possible from the best estate vineyards in Napa Valley all under the guidance of winemaker Julien Fayard.
