2015 Querciabella Red blend

Mongrana is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot from the Maremma. The wine has had no time in oak, just one year in concrete and stainless steel followed by one year in bottle. It has some light, sweet red fruits and soft spice aromas, while the palate is juicy, pretty, and quite lively. It’s not heavy or overdone and shows great lightness of touch – simplicity done supremely well.
