Beautiful red deep color. The nose shows fine notes of red fruits. The wine offers delicate oak aromas that are powerful and well-engrained. On the palate, the wine is elegant thanks to silky yet racy tannins. The wine has a long finish with a nice balance between the toasty oak and fruit notes.
The creation of this 9.5 Hectares vineyard dates back to the 19th century. Since then, the vineyard has benefited from the care of the same family, “the Menager”. It is located on the East slope of Saint-Emilion ensuring a perfect exposure. These Clay soil gives fruity and expressive wines, with a beaufiful texture in the mouth.The wine is made with 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from 30 years old vines.Traditional winemaking in concrete vats. Vating during 21 days minimum. Ageing during 12 months in tank and barrels with 25% new oak.
