Aromas of lemon zest, lemon blossoms, ripe pears, light pineapple, wildflowers. Broad and layered, with great texture. Long. Hand-harvested. Pressed directly; juice allowed to settle for 24 hours before placing in French oak barrels to ferment on indigenous yeasts. Aged for 16 months in barrel (25% new). Lees stirring during the winter months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, according to the lunar cycle. A selection of fruit from estate-owned vines in ‘Meix Cadot,’ located south of the village, and facing full south. Vines were planted by winemaker Vincent Dureuil’s great-grandfather in 1920. Soils are a mix of limestone and clay. 100% Chardonnay
