On the nose, aromas of ripe pears, lychee, honeysuckle and citrus. The mouthfeel is textured and silky, very flavorful and vibrant, with a refreshing minerality and clean finish. This is a bright, expressive wine.

Matt manages his full-time work as vineyard manager and partner in Barbour Vineyards with his commitment to managing the family ranch. Julien Fayard gained his knowledge and defined his core winemaking style from working at Grand Chateaux in France including Lafite Rothschild and Smith Haut Lafitte. In Napa Valley, he’s worked alongside renowned winemaker Philippe Melka, and his current projects also include Azur, Purlieu and Taplin.
