Very fragrant: strawberries and boysenberries emanate from the glass followed by a delicate and dense strawberry juice mouthfeel, crisp and mineral. Lots of personality.
The wine is 100% Pinot Noir from the Estate outside of Eugene (South Willamette Valley is much cooler than the North), whole-cluster direct press juice is the main component, blended with a little saignée from their Estate Pinot Noir program. All tank all the time.
This surprisingly is the first time this producer has made a rosé for the general market and comes from the largest Bio-dynamic farm in the US at King Estate.
