97 Points – Decanter Magazine
“Blazing acidity, underscored by salty, rocky minerality and chiselled, chalky restraint. An ample ripe orchard fruit character rounds out the mid-palate before tightening into a precise finish of salty citrus. While certainly approachable now, this wine will benefit from a few years of ageing to develop its full complexity.”
Estate Notes:
Barrel Fermented and aged in entirely neutral French oak for 9 months. Finished in stainless steel tank. This wine has great tension, mouthfeel, and focus. Notes of lemon, oyster-shell, and river rocks on both the nose and palate. This wine will continue to soften with age, but for those looking for an austere style of Chardonnay this will certainly not disappoint. 13% Alc.
