Fortune 6121 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley this might be my favorite vintage yet!
WSI 93+ : Fresh nose of blackberry, cassis and touches of dried violet. The palate is fullbodied with pure notes of blueberries intermingled with chocolate, caramel and hints of bacon. The Bump Family are direct descendants of Edward Bompasse. With this project, our family tries to celebrate the adventurous spirit that the other original settlers embodied. Also,we have noticed that when we share the story of Fortune 1621, it inspires others to fondly remember the histories of their families. Fittingly, this social camaraderie is complemented very well by a nice bottle of wine! 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot
Oro Bello Chardonnay California This is a great price-to-quality wine!
WSI 92: Creamy tropical fruit aromas range from pineapple to kiwi with Meyer lemon notes. The mouthfeel is smooth, fresh and balanced with well-integrated toasted oak. The 2016 Oro Bello Chardonnay is ready to drink and will keep easily for up to three years. 30% of our fruit comes from Piziali Vineyard in the Chalk Hill AVA, Sonoma. The AVA is named for the chalky white ash that is volcanic in origin, which characterizes the soils. Piziali is distinctive by its size (only a 5-acre lot) and its Northeastern facing direction, which makes it slightly cooler, thereby allowing the grapes to hold on to their acid. The soils here are very shallow which encourages a low yield – full concentration of flavor and nicely balanced acid. The remaining 70% of the fruit that comes from Lodi is located at the northern edge of the San Joaquin Valley, east of San Francisco Bay. Lodi enjoys a similar climate and growing conditions to its coastal neighbors Napa and Sonoma. The two major rivers originating in the Sierra Nevada mountain range that feeds the Lodi appellation have brought soils rich in granitic-based minerals that lend complex flavors to the wines of Lodi.
Omen Pinot Noir Rogue Valley from a place where Pinot Noir shines!
WSI 92+ Deep, complex aromatics are accented by dark cherry and a touch of cranberry. Barrel aging lends subtle smoky notes and hints of baking spices to the flavor. The mouthfeel is rich and concentrated from the low yields & warm climate of the Rogue Valley. Bacio Divino Red Blend Red Blend “Pazzo” the wine that started it all!, “Pazzo” is the crazy that started this tradition!
WSI 94 Produced by the Janzen Family and consulting winemaker / viticulturalist Kirk Venge, “Pazzo” (crazy in Italian) marries the best features of several varietals to create a unique and sophisticated blend: “With every vintage, our goal is to bring you the best of Napa Valley at an attractive price. The 2016 Pazzo is no exception. We sourced Sangiovese from both the Valley floor and higher elevations and blended it with rich, fruity Merlot and some dark, full-bodied Syrah from the heart of our Valley.”
Rich dark berry fruit with cherry highlights is heightened by bright acidity and a bold tannin structure. Bursting with concentrated fruit on the nose, a second waft reveals notes of roasted herbs, pepper and spice. ‘Delicious’ is the word most used to describe Pazzo. 58% Sangiovese, 22% Merlot, 12% Syrah. 8% Cabernet Sauvignon
Sip all summer long. Perfect for parties, barbecues and sharing!
