The palate explodes with dark cherry, blackberry and rich spice, gradually opening into layers of violet, clove and cocoa nib. The chewy tannins and balanced acidity of this juicy, full-bodied wine offer excellent aging potential for collectors. The wine is made by the famed Philippe Melka (Lail, Metisse, Parallel, Hundred Acre, Bryant Family, Dana Estate, Vineyard 29, and Dominus, as well as Haut-Brion and Petrus ~ to name a few), who Parker has named one of the top 10 wine consultants in the world.
