WA96 The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple colored and delivers notions of blackcurrant cordial, blackberries and plum preserves with touches of cedar chest, pencil lead, lavender and bay leaves plus a waft of cinnamon stick. Full-bodied, wonderfully rich, concentrated and plush, it has bags of vivacity and a long spicy finish.
Stormy Weather is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made from low yield hillside fruit from Sugarloaf Mountain and Howell Mountain. Fermentation was done partially in stainless steel and partially in French oak puncheons. Aged 2 years in 100% new French oak. Bottle aged 2+ years. This wine is small production and of uncompromising quality.
