The palate shows great balance, with a bright seam of acidity that keeps the apple and orange fruit pure and focused. Lovely accents of toasted brioche and wood spice carry the enduring finish.
Estate Notes: The 2016 Capensis Chardonnay exudes aromatics of Lemon zest, bergamot, stargazer lily, white truffle, shell & vanilla bean. The palate bursts with flavors of Meyer lemon, tree fruits & saline with luscious texture and a balanced bright acidity. 1000 cases produced. ged 10 months in French oak, 45% new.
