2016 Chateau Linot Saint-Estèphe

WSI94 Rocky soils impart structure and complexity to this fabulous blend of 70% Cabernet and 30% Merlot with most of the vines now older than 40 years. They only make 4000 bottles of this wine and it is just loaded with black currant and blackberry fruit laced with licorice, smoked meat, lead pencil, and beautiful spice notes. Vineyard located near Cos d’Estournel. 4,000 bottles produced yearly!
