2016 VASO by Dana Estates Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

JS95 This is a beautiful red with plums, currants and spice. Full body and creamy, polished tannins. Extremely flavorful and delicious. Hard to wait on this. Drink or hold.
VIN93 The 2016 Vaso is Dana’s young-vine wine, made with a bit more scale and meant to reach a broader audience. It is also done in a style that is more approachable than the Dana Estates wines and also released with a few years of bottle age, an approach seen sometimes in Bordeaux. Bright red cherry, plum, blood orange and spice are nicely lifted. Sensual, medium in body and silky, the 2016 is a terrific choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years.
