Deep ruby-purple, it offers aromas of tapenade, dried herbs, graphite, mushroom powder and loads of floral aromas over a core of cassis and blue fruits. The full-bodied palate is slow to unfurl, but when it does—wow! Layered and concentrated, it’s wrapped in a finely pixelated frame with a streak of minerality and great freshness to lift the very long finish.
