Readers will find a lifted, ethereal Pinot built on grace and understatement. The style is a bit fleeting. The Old Firs is a wine for contemplation. It won’t give up much on its own, rather it is a wine that demands full attention from the reader. Rose petal, lavender and white pepper notes add a beguiling upper register.
