VIN93 The 2018 Pinot Noir Ashley’s is a classic Sta. Rita Hills Pinot. Juicy red cherry/plum fruit gives the 2018 is flashy, succulent personality. Cola, sweet spice and lavender add aromatic nuance, but this is essentially a bold, sumptuous wine that will drink well upon release. Like all of these wines, the Parker West has striking transparency.
JD93 I loved the 2018 Pinot Noir Ashley’s, which offers a pure, elegant, complex style that carries lots of red fruits, spicy incense, flowers, and a touch of briny, marine-like influence. Medium-bodied, nicely textured, and elegant, it has good acidity and fine tannins.
