2019 Amici Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

WA92-94 The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple in color, it charges out of the gate with loads of blueberry preserves and stewed black plums notes on the nose with faint suggestions of redcurrant jelly and rose hip tea plus a waft of wild sage. Full-bodied and jam-packed with ripe black and blue fruit, it has a soft texture and perfumed finish. (Tasted as a barrel sample.)
JS93 Perfumed cabernet with aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, raspberries, thyme, violets, crushed stones and cloves. Full-bodied with firm, grainy tannins. Structured and concentrated.
VIN90-92 The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is once again a fabulous introduction to this range. Pliant, supple and inviting, the 2019 has a ton to offer. Bright floral notes and soft contours add to a sense of immediacy that is impossible to miss. Dark blue/purplish berries, spice, licorice and new leather are nicely pushed forward.

Estate Notes: Powerful and complex, the 2019 Amici Napa Cabernet Sauvignon leads with dense aromas of sweet vanilla cedar, rose petal, fresh currant and plum. The full-bodied palate has notes of dark chocolate, hoisin soy and plush tannins. The floral and spiced nose accentuate the rich sweet palate and lead to a long, balanced finish of complex density and power. 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc. 100% stainless steel fermentation.
