2019 Bonaccorsi ‘Fiddlestix Vineyard’ Pinot Noir

WSI94 JD92 The single vineyard 2019 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard comes from a great site in the Sta. Rita Hills and was all destemmed and aged 20 months in 20% new French oak. It has a darker, meaty style in its red plum and framboise fruits as well as notes of underbrush, dried herbs, and earth. These all carry to a medium-bodied, elegant Pinot Noir with fine tannins, good overall balance, and a great finish.

Estate Notes: Our 20th Vintage. Very fragrant right out of the bottle; showy, exotically perfumed nose of fresh raspberry, pomegranate, candied ginger, cardamom and radish. In the mouth, high toned, with candied watermelon, crystallized red fruits, parsnip and cool, snappy, minty herbs. Very pretty and extroverted, but deeply flavored as well. Bright, tart, red fruit finish.
