WSI94+ The color is deep crimson red with blue and violet hues in the meniscus. The aromas are almost all black: blackberry, licorice, cassis, clove, and cardamom. Flavors follow suit: black currants, cinnamon, allspice, dark chocolate, and turmeric. Supportive spicy French oak nuances come with air and time in the glass. The palate is highly textured with a round, rich, full coating. The finish shows persistence and fine-grain tannins for structure.
