WE93 This well-polished, complex and layered wine wraps super-fine tannins around late-picked plums and dried cherries for a lavish, luxurious expression. Dashes of cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and maple give it plenty to appreciate. From yields under 3 tons per acre, blended with 13% Petite Verdot and 7% Merlot. Aged 18 months in 65% new French oak. 375 cases.
JS92 Aromas of black tea, sliced plum and leafy herbs. Full-bodied with fine tannins. Pleasantly textural and showing attractive restraint. Nuanced dark fruit with coffee character. Drink or hold.
