2019 Owen Roe Ex Umbris Syrah Columbia Valley

WSI93+ JS92 Dried violets, cherries, blueberries, smoked meat and cracked pepper on the nose. It’s medium-to full-bodied with fine tannins and fresh acidity. Supple and subtly smoky. 100% syrah. Drink or hold.
Estate Notes: The 2019 Ex Umbris opens up on the nose with dried cranberries and a touch of stone and leather. The masculine aromas then give way to fresh cherry and blueberry on the palette. Subtle pepper and light smokiness follows the fruit to the mid-palette. The tannins are mellow already which makes this our everyday Syrah.
