JD95 My favorite in the lineup (but we’re splitting hairs), the 2019 Cabernet Franc Wandering Star got a big “wow” in the notes and shines for its purity, complexity, and elegance. This classic Cabernet Franc sports a deep purple hue, notes of darker, almost blue fruits, truffly earth, tobacco, and smoked meats, medium to full body, ultra-fine tannins, and a great, great finish. If you see a bottle, buy it.
TWI94 Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Franc Wandering Star wafts out with notions of cherry cordial, plum preserves, and blueberry syrup, giv-ing way to hints of wild sage, damp soil, and truffles. The full-bodied palate is vibrant and refreshing, with soft tannins and a lifted finish.
