2020 Terre et Sang ‘Passenger’ Syrah Kimsey Vineyard

TWI97 The 2020 The Passenger Syrah, with 10% Grenache in the blend, is medium garnet-purple in color. Notes of cardamom, Chinese five spice, and black peppercorn leap from the glass, giving way to a core of blackberry preserves and black raspberries plus a hint of dried Provence herbs. The full-bodied palate is wonderfully savory, with ripe, rounded tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on a lingering peppered meat note.
JD96 More ripe black fruits, cracked pepper, and spice, as well as some iron and salty notes, emerge from the 2020 Syrah Passenger, a deep purple-hued Syrah (there’s 10% Grenache) that shows the house’s silky, elegant, balanced style beautifully.
