Full-bodied, super-concentrated, and impactful, it coats the mouth with black and blue fruit preserves flavors, supported by plush tannins and a lively line, finishing long and decadent.
JD94 The deep ruby/plum-hued 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Cuv e Leo is also absolutely terrific. Cassis, spicy oak, espresso, tobacco, and graphite all shine here, and this beauty is medium to full-bodied, with remarkable purity, a good spine of acidity, and the focused, vibrant, fresher style of the vintage. It’s a gorgeous wine that will evolve for at least 15 years.
