JD92 The 2021 Vermentino is beautiful, with a terrific sense of minerality in its ripe citrus, chalky stone, and white flower aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, brigh,t and clean, it’s perfect for drinking over the coming couple of years and will just be incredible with seafood.
TWI91 The 2021 Aslan Maremma Toscana Vermentino is a little shy at first sniff, soon unfurling to offer notes of fresh Golden Delicious apples, white peaches, and allspice, with a fragrant waft of lime leaves. Light to medium-bodied, the palate delivers vibrant notes of apple and peaches, with a racy backbone and long spicy finish.
Estate Notes: The Aslan Maremma Toscana Vermentino reveals gorgeous aromas of ripe pear, white peach, preserved lemon peel and apple blossom. Layers of crushed rock and fresh almonds complement the fruit driven core. This wine is distinctly focused and reflects the close proximity to the sea with a gentle saline note. The wine generously coats the palate and leaves an enduring finish.
Sustainable farming. Average age of vines: 17 years. Cellar aged for 2 months on lees and bottle aged 6 months before release. 100% Vermentino, 13% alc.
