2021 Atelier Ilaria Napa Valley Chardonnay

WSI93+ JD94 Coming from Coombsville and all barrel fermented in 30% new oak, the 2021 Chardonnay is another gorgeous white from this talented winemaker. Stone fruits, toasted spice, dried herbs, and some mineral notes all emerge on the nose, and it’s medium to full-bodied, rich, and concentrated, with a great finish.
Estate Notes: The 2021 Atelier Ilaria Napa Valley Chardonnay dances from the glass with a gorgeous perfume of white flowers, citrus oil, beeswax, pear, crisp peach, nectarine and baked pastry. The palate is stunningly complex with a vein of bright acidity, a satin-like texture and a subtle creaminess on the mouthfeel. There are hints of baked apple crisp and toasted brioche on the enduring finish.
