2021 Cervantes ‘Blacktail’ Meritage Napa Valley

WSI96+ TWI97 The 2021 Blacktail is a blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Malbec, 11% Petite Sirah, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it struts out of the glass with showy scents of creme de cassis, plum preserves, and blueberry compote leading to hints of cedar chest, menthol, rose oil, and black truffles. The full-bodied palate is jam packed with seductive black fruits framed by velvety tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing with epic length.
