JS96 This lush, floral, creamy wine is made from some of the oldest vines of the Old Wente Clone in California and shows incredible depth, breadth and layering of poached pears, vanilla bean and marzipan. Very rich, ripe and mouth-coating, it’s almost a dessert wine in style but technically dry. Drink now or hold.
WE94 The nose of this wine is awash with aromas of pear, Gala apple, Meyer lemon, river rocks, and marzipan. The palate is simply alive with rich flavors of apple, citrus, lemon balm and hazelnut crème mingling and dancing for at least a minute with a luscious streak of acidity.
