JS97 This is really structured with plenty of muscular tannins that flex, giving you fruit underneath. Seemingly born fully formed from dark and brooding soil, it goes on for minutes. Give this a lot of time, maybe five years or more.
VIN93 Rosy and perfumed, the 2022 Etna Rosso Feudo di Mezzo opens with a lovely bouquet that blends dried flowers with crushed strawberries and hints of lavender. This displays textures of pure silk with a lifted and finessed feel. Tart wild berry fruits add a lovely inner tension. A web of fine-grained tannins frames the experience nicely as the 2022 tapers off with staining length and a tart cranberry concentration.
