Wonderfully hedonistic and playful but there is a streak of seriousness that derives from mineral soils that transfer character and complexity. The careful barrel ageing gives a superbly silky wine, with a nice mineral persistence. It has a nose of black fruits, with subtle hints of leather, truffle, cedar and peony. The 3 varieties of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah, compliment each other to produce this magnificent wine.
