1989 Opus One Meritage

Normal weather patterns prevailed during the cool 1989 growing season, which produced
typical crop levels. Unseasonably cool weather—which included late September and October
rains—delayed the harvest, producing lower sugars and lean, vigorous wines with notes of cedar
and spice.
