2014 Heritage School Vineyards Casey’s Lakeview Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

VIN91 The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Casey’s Lakeview Vineyard is the most overt of these wines. Superripe black cherry, plum, chocolate and licorice add to an impression of flamboyance that sits on the edge of being too much. The effects of the drought are felt in the wine’s slightly roasted profile.
Estate Notes: Lakeview Vineyard is our mid-block vineyard planted to a wonderful combination of clone 6 & 337 Cabernet Sauvignon on 101-14 rootstock. With excellent drainage on account of rocky and chalky soils this vineyard receives wonderful sunlight throughout the course of the day and pro- duces wines of bold character with mouth filling flavors. 250 cases.
