2014 Hoopes Vineyard ‘The Short Rows’ Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon – Auction lot

For the 2014 Vintage Auction Lot, Hoopes created a wine from a unique site between the Napa River and Yountville Hill in their oldest vineyard in Oakville. This site permits for natural flood irrigation, creating three different soil types, which contribute distinctive flavors. It is produced from rows that comprise less than 5% of our Oakville (only the best of the best) vineyard, the fruit source for our flagship wine. The Premier Napa Valley wine was fermented independently from wine from the rest of the vineyard. The wine is from a single vineyard, dry farmed, sustainably produced, and 100% estate grown and bottled.
