The rare Napa Valley ‘fruit to bottle’ rosé…. Grown at our heritage vineyard in Calistoga, Napa Valley, our Rosé of Charbono is the result of a fruit thinning pass at ~50% veraison. Whole cluster pressed to extract the minimal amount of color and protect the delicate aromatics of the resulting wine. Soft rose petals meet the eye. Alpine strawberries and white watermelon go for broke aromatically. delightfully dry and crisp wine of the pink persuasion. Delicate with compelling balance. Lifted fruit, while detailing restraint. 200 cases produced.
WSI94 This is an amazing Rosé: Crushed rose petals (and dreams) and delicate strawberries on the nose transporting us to a Valentine’s Day Mirage: on the palate, sticky dense strawberry jus dominates, with fresh lychee fruit elements and bright savory notes on the finish. Very satisfying and refreshing.
