Flavors of cardamom, blackcurrant, and blackberry are beautifully layered on the palate leading into a unique, subtle hint of redwood. The finish is accented with flavors of mocha and is refined by the textured French oak. Decant and drink now, or cellar through 2035. 95% Max Vineyard & 5% Juliana Vineyard. Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel fermenters followed by wet cap immersion, totaling 28 days of extended maceration. Aged 22 months in 70% new French oak barrels.
