W&S92 Aipierti is a wine that takes its time, opening with salty and savory tones that feel almost severe in their stony firmness, the blanched-almond and green-olive flavors gradually blossoming into notes of grilled lemon, crunchy herbs and sea salt. The flavors keep expanding and evolving over several days, the sign of a wine with cellaring potential.
Estate Notes: This is a special selection of older Fiano vines from high-altitude estate vineyards is a wonder. Smoke, pears, flowers; weighty and concentrated with a finish that goes on forever. Incredible cellar potential!

Estate vineyards sit at 1,200 above sea level, facing south, in the regions of Vadiaperti and Montefredane. Soils are primarily clay-based. A selection of the estate’s oldest, and lowest-yielding, vines.
40 year-old vines. Hand-harvested. Full-cluster press; fermented on indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled tanks. Aged in tank on fine lees for up to two years. 100% Fiano.
