2019 Barraud Pouilly-Fuisse ‘Sur La Roche’

BH91-93 This too is presently carrying full-on fermentation aromas and is impossible to judge. More interesting are the exceptionally rich and imposingly dense broad-shouldered flavors that are at once caressing but powerful thanks to the copious amount of dry extract that also serves to buffer the moderately firm acid spine shaping the beautifully long finish. Note that while this should generously repay mid-term cellaring, it’s not so structured that it could not be approached after only a few years.
