JD94 The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville brings more elegance and finesse. Coming all from Oakville and aged 28 months in 50% new barrels, it has perfumed red and black fruits, lots of spicy oak, medium body, and just a seamless, pretty, elegant profile that’s going to evolve nicely for 10-15 years.
Estate Notes: Scented sparks of cedar chips, orange zest, and muddled raspberries fly out of the glass. A warm rich welcome of a freshly baked plum galette topped with ground nutmeg and toasted clove greet you as you take your first sip. The mid palate bursts with an even balance of fruit and savory spices that carry all the way through to a long finish of tobacco and plum. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 28 months in 100% French Barrels, 50% new. 600 cases produced.
