JS93 Nice cedary oak with some cigar box and chocolate to the fresh blackberries. A fresher, full-bodied Ribera del Duero here that shows weight and structure but also good drinkability with fine, gritty tannins. Drink or hold.
Estate Notes: 100% Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) selected from El Espino, a 7.9-hectare paraje on the Aster property • Sandy loam soils at 800m elevation • Fermented in tank • Aged for 12 months in 20% new and 80% used French oak barrels with 2 manual rackings, followed by 4 additional months in tank after the final blend
