WA96-98 The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon was tasted as a finished blend barrel sample. Deep purple-black in color, it delivers fantastically pure blackcurrants and fresh blackberries scents, with wafts of crushed rocks, lavender, clove oil and cinnamon stick, plus a hint of mossy bark. Medium to full-bodied, it has a firm, finely grained texture to support the ripe, rich, juicy fruit, offset by amazing freshness and energy, finishing long and layered.
TWI96 The 2020 Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple in color. It slowly emerges from the glass with notes of black raspberries, kirsch, and blackcurrant jelly, followed by suggestions of powdered cinnamon, dried roses, Chinese five spice, and fragrant soil. The full-bodied palate is so fragrant and juicy with vibrant red berry and floral sparks, supported by plush tannins and compelling freshness, with a long, perfumed finish with beautiful purity. Estate Notes: Born in a challenging context, the 2020 Eisele Vineyard Cabernet is a magnificent wine that speaks unmistakably of the quality of its birthplace. The wine emerges from the glass carrying the richness of a summer fruit basket with notes of raspberry coulis, blackberry pie, violet candy and blueberry preserves. The nose opens on complex layers of forest soil, pine needles, cacao powder and cinnamon to create a high-tone bouquet. The mouthfeel is round and luxurious with succulent powdery tannins accompanied by black pepper, arabica and cinnamon. The fragrant and juicy finish lingers on the palate with notes of elderberry and rose petals.
