2022 Hollis Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Full bodied and showcasing luscious red fruits, this Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon features aromas of cola, black cherry, and ripe raspberry. Flavors of dark fruit are apparent on the palate with notes of mild tobacco leaf and strawberry pie. The subtle oak and seamless structure are integrated with precision, with the beautiful balance of acidity pulling everything together.
Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel fermenters with wet cap immersion, totaling 25 days of extended maceration.
Aged 22 months in 65% new French oak barrels. 587 cases produced.

The Hollis is accessible now with engaging and rich, fruit forward components dominated by cassis, black cherry and tobacco. It offers a muscular mid-palate full of soft tannins with notes of chocolate and coconut husk and it has a very long, lingering finish.
