WA95 The most lavish wine in the Giornata roster is the 2022 Gemellaia, a blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Sangiovese that presents a creamy, luxurious profile with the authenticity and vibrancy that permeate the entire portfolio. A rich, lush bouquet of red and black fruits accented with pleasant undertones of vanilla and graphite is followed by a dense, sturdy and tense palate. It concludes with a rich and fine-grained finish that swells with a balanced core of well-judged new oak and myriad spicy, herbal nuances.
