2023 Beaux Frères ‘Beaux Freres Vineyard’ Pinot Noir

JS97 A smooth, suave and spicy wine that is made from the wine estate’s original vineyard. It’s spicy but balanced, offering tangy red cherry, pure black cherry, cinnamon, clove and toast flavors. There’s a flash of new oak, 20%, but carried by wonderful, lively fruit and savory accents from the vineyard. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now or hold.

JD96 Displaying a bright red color, the 2023 Pinot Noir The Beaux Frères Vineyard is layered and boasts a deeper aromatic profile. A consistent wine year after year, the aromatics are exceptional in this vintage, with notes of ripe cherries, crushed flowers, and woodsy, mossy earth. (It smells like walking into a spring forest.) The palate, which has a light salty flourish, offers incredible balance between its energy, structure, and ripeness. It never has astringency, and its excellent energy adds a pleasing level of structure to the wine. Drink 2025-2045.

WS95 Impeccably structured and rich yet gracefully layered, with lilting raspberry and cherry flavors highlighted by forest floor,savory spices and rose petal as this builds depth and tension toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2035.
